Road work signs have been temporarily installed throughout the Village in preparation for the Safe Routes to School Project slated to begin soon. This pedestrian safety improvement project includes sidewalk replacement and repair, and upgrades to crosswalks and signals along Wyoming Ave from Central to Elm and Mill Street from Wyoming to Carthage. The Village was awarded federal, state and county grants to fund this project. Once construction begins, there will be temporary sidewalk and intersection closures. We appreciate your patience as we continue the improvements throughout the Village.
