The Village of Lockland will hold two public hearings on April 8th, 2024 at 6 PM and April 22nd at 6 PM at the Village of Lockland Administrative Building, 101 North Cooper Avenue, Lockland, Ohio 45215 for the purpose of hearing public comments on the community development needs of the Village of Lockland, and to discuss possible submission of one or more Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) applications for the 2024, 2025, and 2026 program years. The CDBG program is administered by the Community Development Department of Hamilton County, Ohio, and will make funds available to eligible local governments for housing, economic development, public facilities, public infrastructure, and planning activities, with the principal purpose of benefiting low/moderate income persons. The first hearing be held on April, 8 2024, will provide further information about the CDBG program and will allow for citizen participation in the development of any proposed grant applications and/or to provide technical assistance to develop alternative proposals. The second hearing will review the projects that the Village of Lockland intends to submit to Hamilton County for funding. The hearings are being conducted pursuant to Section 570.486, Subpart 1 of the CFR and in compliance with the requirements of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended.
