Dear Residents and Business Owners:
In the summer months, it is important to be diligent in maintaining the landscaping of your homes and businesses. This means cutting grass and trimming hedges regularly. Please do not blow grass clippings out into the street or sidewalk as the street sweeper cannot collect this refuse. Lawn waste should be bagged and set out with the normal garbage.
Tree limbs and brush will be picked up on Mondays, January through September (except holidays). If scheduled Monday falls on a holiday, it will be re-scheduled for the following Monday. Limbs should be set at curb side after 7:00 PM Sunday night. Limbs should be laid in same direction and no larger than five inches thick. Limbs blocked by autos or stacked with other items will NOT be collected. Stumps and/or root balls will NOT be accepted. Residents having large amounts of limbs will be required to rent an over-night truck for self-loading. The Village will not pick up limbs due to private contractor doing tree work. Contact Public Works at 513-733-0957 or email the Public Works Director to notify them of any limbs to be collected.
Vehicular violations are also a concern. Cars must be properly tagged with valid plates to be parked on the street, abandoned vehicles will be towed. Vehicles must be parked on a paved surface.
If you have any additional concerns, please contact me with the information above. Your request is important, I will respond as soon as I am able.
